Jay Peak is undergoing an extensive $100,000,000 renovation and expansion of the resort into a year-round destination. Included in the master plan is a new 120 room hotel, indoor waterpark, golf clubhouse, indoor ice arena, and parking structure. Close collaboration with the architect in order to locate buildings, vehicular circulation, service / deliveries, establish clear pedestrian and vehicular circulation and to bring a sense of unity to overall complex. A signage and way-finding package is being developed utilizing raw architectural materials with emphasis on durability, scale & winter contrast. Outdoor amenities include extensive walkways, a swimming pool, spas and a special events lawn. Parking layout was evaluated and modified based upon both winter and summer parking needs with special attention to both snow removal and summer aesthetics.
