The 188,500-square-foot electric aircraft factory built on a 40-acre brownfield, will be capable of producing up to 300 aircraft per year by 2027, and marks a significant milestone for Beta, one of the fastest-growing companies launched in Vermont.  The site has been laid out to maximize green space and diffuse the parking into the overall site providing maximum screening from all vantage points.  Parking bays curve through the site so that you never experience one long straight view down a parking bay.  The parking bays are separated by landscaped islands that vary in width from 10’ to 35’ and contain planted, undulating landforms that suggest movement and flight.  The primary stormwater basin is architecturally integrated into the curvilinear site, formed on two sides by board form retaining walls and planted with native perennials and grasses.
