Erica Andrus
Landscape Designer
Erica received her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Horticulture from University of Vermont and then completed her Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Oregon in 2020. A native of Vermont, she returned to the state after practicing in Colorado. Erica has a strong knowledge of native plant communities and is passionate about designing to showcase ecological qualities that reflect a site’s cultural context. Her master’s thesis developed a framework for designing trail systems that protect sensitive plant and animal species while leading people through beautiful landscapes to increase appreciation for protected natural areas. Her work received a 2020 ASLA National Student Honor Award.
