Ella Braco
Ella joined the team at Wagner Hodgson in 2022. After earning her Master’s in Landscape Architecture from SUNY ESF in 2013, Ella worked in the D.C. metro area, and then landed in Burlington in 2016. As a student, she focused her capstone project on landscape interventions that would increase resiliency in our food system by improving pollinator habitat within and around large farms. Her work received a National ASLA Student Honor Award and earned her the SUNY ESF Olmsted Scholar for 2013.
Since graduating, Ella has predominantly worked on large multi-phased residential and mixed-use developments. She has experience designing a variety of private residential amenity spaces including rooftop terraces, outdoor kitchens, playgrounds, and community gardens. She has also worked on public infrastructure including streetscapes and parks. With every project she strives to find creative solutions that meet the needs and values of all stakeholders.
