Isabella Bertolini
Isabella Bertolini moved to Vermont from Columbus, Ohio, where she spent five years with the landscape architecture and planning firm MKSK. There, she developed a strong foundation in design rigor, learning to integrate design excellence with the technical complexity and systems thinking required to shape resilient landscapes across multiple scales. Her experience spans botanical gardens, riverfronts, and public parks, where she has explored how landscape architecture can strengthen community identity, reveal the cultural and historical narratives of a place, and foster meaningful connections between people and the environments they share.
Influenced by her background in the fine arts, Isabella brings an artistic sensibility to every project, thoughtfully weaving principles of composition, materiality, and visual storytelling into landscapes that are both timeless and evocative. Now based in Vermont, Isabella is drawn to the landscapes of the Northeast and a design culture that embraces ecological processes, celebrates regional character, and expresses a high level of craft.
Isabella holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University and is a licensed Landscape Architect in the state of Ohio.
