Emily Slade

Emily is a fourth-year landscape architecture and professional writing student joining WHLA as part of her co-operative experience at Purdue University. Her interest in landscape architecture stems from a curiosity about urban development and planning, and the corresponding socioeconomic and environmental impacts of that development. This curiosity led Emily to explore a wide array of public work, ranging from small civic parks in rural Indiana to National Tallgrass Prairies. Emily aims to combine her passion for environmental conservation with the craft and contextualization WHLA emphasizes in their designs.
