Koehler Rock

Koehler is a recent graduate from Purdue University. During his time there, Koehler developed a passion for urban design and philosophy. This led to an important juncture in his journey where he discovered the importance of systems-oriented design. An eco-centrist mindset governs most of Koehler’s design intuition, with a heavy focus on cradle-to-cradle and end-of-life design. Long-term effects of landscape architecture is a unique perspective that he enjoys thinking about. Since joining WHLA in 2025, Koehler has proven himself as a thoughtful designer and has integrated new graphic techniques into the studio and is thorough with construction documentation. Outside of work Koehler likes to read, hike, and enjoy the local food scene.
